Aceclofenac 100mg & Paracetamol 325mg Tablet IPAceclofenac 100mg & Paracetamol 325mg Tablet IPAceclofenac 100mg & Paracetamol 325mg Tablet IP

Product Description

Aceclofenac 100mg & Paracetamol 325mg Tablet belongs to the class of drugs known as 'non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This fixed-dose combination contains aceclofenac and paracetamol. Aceclofenac and paracetamol help reduce pain and inflammation caused by bone or soft tissue injuries, postoperative swelling, edema (fluid buildup in tissues), and pain. Aceclofenac works by blocking cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that cause pain and swelling at the site of injury or damage. Paracetamol acts as a mild pain reliever (analgesic) and fever reducer (antipyretic), enhancing the pain-relieving effect of aceclofenac.

Pain can be short-term (acute) or long-term (chronic). Acute pain, lasting briefly, results from tissue damage in muscles, bones, or organs. Chronic pain lasts for life and is caused by nerve damage, osteoarthritis, and dental pain due to damage to the tooth nerve. Musculoskeletal pain can arise from infection, decay, tooth extraction, or injury. Various types of this pain stem from soft tissue damage (muscles, tendons, or ligaments). Severe tissue pain and inflammation from sprains, strains, trauma, or post-surgical recovery may take an extended period to heal.

Uses

Aceclofenac and paracetamol tablets are used to treat pain associated with various conditions, including post-injury pain, low back pain, cervical pain, spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
