It may also be used in children aged 1-18 years for symptomatic heart failure with systemic left ventricle. Heart failure is a condition where the heart cannot pump blood effectively, leading to symptoms like shortness of breath and fatigue.

How it works

Sacubitril 24mg & Valsartan 26mg Tablets IP combines Valsartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker, ARB) and Sacubitril (a neprilysin inhibitor). Sacubitril inhibits neprilysin, preventing the breakdown of natriuretic peptides (like BNP), which promote vasodilation, natriuresis (sodium excretion), and reduce cardiac stress.
